In addition to the standard IE6 settings explained in the Ensight documentation, the following extra settings need to be applied to installations of IE6 SP2:
Status Bar Fix:
- Open up your Internet Options window off the Tools menu in IE
- Click on the Security Tab
- In the Internet Zone, change the level to Medium (or click Default Level)
- Click on the Custom Level.. button
- This will present a list of advanced settings. Find the one under the "Miscellaneous" grouping labeled "Allow script-initiated windows without size or position constraints".
- Set it to "Enable"
- Click Ok
- Click Ok on the Internet Options window
Popup Blocker Fix:
- Select Pop-up Blocker, and Pop-up Blocker Settings... from the Tools menu
- Enter the URL of the current site and click Add
- Click Close
